I took the initiative to dramatically improve the illustrations in this chapter about enzymes. Typically, standard representation of enzymes within educational materials are simple, and whilst they reflect the theoretical behaviour of them well enough, I felt they could be more than simply ‘sufficient’.
Here I’ve taken the real physical appearance models of enzymes, and married them with the more well known shapes used to represent them, creating more visceral and engaging imagery, which will, with any lucky, assist students and help them easier grasp the concepts being presented.
